CrushDMs is an iOS application that lets you analyze screenshots of your chats and DMs to receive a playful, AI-powered read on the conversation, including statistics and interpretive insights.

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect information when you use the Application and its Services.

Definitions

"User" – Any individual accessing or using CrushDMs. "Application" – The mobile application CrushDMs, available on iOS. "Service" – All functionality provided by CrushDMs, including AI-generated conversational analysis and statistics. "Content" – Any screenshot, image, or text you upload for analysis. "Analysis" – Any automated report, insight, interpretation, statistic, or AI-generated output produced by the Service. "Third-Party Platforms" – Messaging or social media services from which you may take screenshots, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Messenger, Telegram, Discord, and iMessage.

Information We Collect

CrushDMs follows a strict data-minimization approach. We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service.

No account required CrushDMs does NOT require you to create an account or log in. There is no sign-up, and we do not use Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or any other login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or any account identifier.

Screenshots you choose to analyze When you start an analysis, you select chat screenshots from your device's photo library. Those images are compressed on your device and sent, over an encrypted connection, to our backend for the sole purpose of generating your analysis. We access your photo library only to let you pick the images you choose; we do not browse, scan, or upload your library.

Analysis results The reports generated from your screenshots (statistics, summaries, interpretations, timing and engagement insights) are stored only on your device, inside the app. We do not store your reports on our servers, and no one else can access them.

Technical information Because your screenshots are sent to our backend for processing, our infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address, device/OS type, app version, and request timestamps. This is used only to operate the Service, maintain security, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Advertising measurement CrushDMs works with AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement provider, to understand which marketing campaigns bring people to the Application. The AppsFlyer SDK collects:

the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), which is specific to our app on your device;
an install identifier that AppsFlyer assigns to your installation;
the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), but only if you give permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt;
technical device and network information such as device model, OS version, language and IP address, from which an approximate city- or country-level location is derived;
app-launch and in-app activity, such as when the Application is opened and whether a subscription was purchased.
